Nine inch square of muslin, some applique and a little embroidery. This is the project I've been thinking about for months. Sick at home with a bad cold for 2 days is a good excuse to get started...
Each letter block will be finished as a mini quilt with a wrap around binding (not sure of the officially name for that yet...) and then joined together at the end.
Was a little concerned about applique around the curves and points, have only done squares up to this point, but I really liked and am happy with the result.
B is for BIRDS!!
